Whipped Honey Butter

The following recipe is provided by The National Honey Board, but I’ve found it a long time ago in a Southern Living magazine feature. It is absolutely wonderful on a nice brisk morning with a slice of homemade bread. Yummy!

Whipped Honey Butter

Makes 2 cups

  • 1 cup (12 oz.) whipped honey or crème, softened if necessary
  • 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter, softened

In a medium bowl, mix together honey and butter. Spoon into jars with tight-fitting lids. Store in refrigerator.

Tip: Stir 1-1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel into honey-butter mixture.

  1. As a kid I ate tons of that…I was called “The Honeybutter Kid.” I don’t know if it is still sold because I can’t take the sweets anymore. (Maybe I ate TOO MUCH of it) 🙂

Glad you liked this recipe and my post. There is nothing like homemade bread with honey butter on it! Yum!
